Privacy
Sermon Canvas stores what it needs to run your church workspace: account details such as your name and email, church workspace details, uploaded sermon documents and the structured content produced from them, generated images and themes, billing and credit records, feedback and support messages, and basic app event records used to keep the product reliable.
This page is written in plain language. A version reviewed with counsel will replace it as the product moves out of beta, and the promises below will not get weaker.
Who processes your data
These services process data on our behalf to run the product:
- Supabase hosts the database, file storage, and sign-in.
- Stripe processes payments. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google provide the AI processing. When a sermon is processed or an image is generated, the sermon text or image description is sent to one of these providers to produce the result.
- Sentry receives server error reports so problems get found and fixed.
- Pixabay and Unsplash receive search terms when your team searches free photos.
- Our email provider delivers sign-in and notification email.
- GoHighLevel, our marketing platform, receives account lifecycle events, such as a trial starting, to send product email.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use your sermons or images to train AI models. Sermon content belongs to the church workspace that created it, and access is scoped by authenticated church membership.
How long we keep it
App event and feedback records are deleted automatically after 180 days. Billing and credit records are kept for accounting. Sermon content and images remain until your team deletes them. An owner can delete the entire church workspace from Settings, under Account, which removes its content permanently.
Questions
Questions about your church's data are welcome any time through the Help & support page inside the app.
